Conducting Polymers

  • GraHIL

Many research group has been trying to replace the transparent ITO electrode into  conducting polymer, PEDOT:PSS. However most of the researches are focusing on improving the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS. Therefore to use PEDOT:PSS as a electrode, controlling the work function of the PEDOT:PSS is needed.

We have been published  about replacing the PEDOT:PSS hole injection layer into adding high ionization potential additive in PEDOT:PSS. By using this new type hole injection layer we had fabricated high efficiency organic light emitting diode with graphene electrode

  • AnoHIL

In order to embody fully flexible optoelectronic devices, conventional transparent anode materials represented by indium-tin oxide (ITO) should be replaced with any other flexible anode materials due to its brittleness. We have reported high work function polymeric anodes (AnoHILs) to replace ITO. The AnoHIL has mulfitunction of both an anode and a HIL as a single layer, and makes ohmic contact to overlying semi-conducting layers without any HIL. Thus, it can simplify device structures of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs), resulting in very high efficiency.
